The STI clinic offers various free testing and treatment services as part of each Health Unit's Communicable Disease Program.
The STI clinic provides free and accessible treatment and various testing services as part of each Health Unit's Communicable Disease Program. The STI Clinics are publicly funded, with no charge to the patient or billing to MSP (no PHN required - patients can use a fake name). While no referral is required, there is no drop-in service for any of the STI Clinics - please call to book an appointment. Additional appointments during the week might be available for individuals who have symptoms, or who are in contact to an STI; this should be mentioned when calling to book an appointment at the STI Clinic.

Services at each STI Clinic May Include:
  • Free condoms
  • Needle supply
  • Point of Care HIV testing
  • HIV PrEP Referral & Prescribers (Victoria location)
  • HIV testing
  • (use a fake name for testing)
  • Anonymous HIV testing
  • (use a fake name for testing)
  • STI testing
  • (use a fake name for testing) and treatment
  • Other harm reduction supplies also available, including take-home naloxone kits
